Barrel-Aged Viet Nom Nom Nom is an Imperial Pastry Stout inspired by Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Brewed with our friends from Vermont, Upper Pass, this is a thicker, more complex, take on our original collab! To recreate the flavors of this delicious coffee treat we started up by brewing our ridiculously decadent pastry stout base and added a healthy dose of creamy Lactose. From there, we aged the liquid in a number of select Bourbon barrels for 1 year. Finally, we finished this beer off by conditioning it on Dark Roast Vietnamese Coffee, tons of rich Vanilla, and a generous amount of Cacao Nibs.

Pouring this beer into a glass reveals a deep blackish-brown colored liquid with a quickly dissipating tan head. When sipping, we find a sweet aroma of fresh vanilla, old fashioned chocolate fudge, caramel, and hints of booze that lead to dessert-like notes reminiscent of Nesquik, sweet condensed milk, light espresso, graham cracker, and booze-filled chocolates.
