SILK CITY 2025 VARIANTS
Silk City (2025) Bourbon Barrel-Aged is a 10.5% Imperial Stout base aged 6 months in hand-selected, freshly emptied, Bourbon Barrels from A. Smith Bowman Distillery.
The liquid is a deep, dark, brown color and is topped by a fluffy tan head that quickly dissipates after being poured into a glass. This beer is extremely rich and luscious. Upon tasting the 2025 vintage, aromas reminiscent of mixed milk and dark chocolates with hints of maple leap from the glass and gives way to flavors reminiscent of vanilla, caramel, charred oak, and more dark chocolate.
Silk City (2025) BBA Vanilla is a 10.5% Imperial Stout base aged 6 months in hand-selected, freshly emptied, Bourbon Barrels from A. Smith Bowman Distillery before being conditioned on a selection of premium Vanilla Beans.
The liquid is a deep, dark, brown color and is topped by a fluffy tan head that quickly dissipates after being poured into a glass. This beer is extremely rich and luscious. Upon tasting the 2025 vintage, aromas reminiscent of milk chocolate and vanilla frosting with lightly burnt marshmallows leap from the glass and gives way to flavors reminiscent of toffee, caramel, charred oak, dark chocolate, and more vanilla.
Silk City (2025) Rum Barrel-Aged is a 10.5% Imperial Stout base aged 6 months in hand-selected, freshly emptied, Rum Barrels.
The liquid is a deep, dark, brown color and is topped by a fluffy tan head that quickly dissipates after being poured into a glass. This beer is extremely rich and luscious. Upon tasting the 2025 vintage, aromas reminiscent of mixed milk and dark chocolates with hints of assorted dark fruits leap from the glass and gives way to flavors reminiscent of vanilla, molasses, raisins, and more dark chocolate.
Silk City (2025) BBA AOMAS is a 10.5% Imperial Stout base aged 6 months in hand-selected, freshly emptied, Bourbon Barrels from A. Smith Bowman Distillery before being conditioned on freshly toasted coconut, cocoa nibs, and salted caramel.
The liquid is a deep, dark, brown color and is topped by a fluffy tan head that quickly dissipates after being poured into a glass. This beer is extremely rich and luscious. Upon tasting this new variant, aromas reminiscent of sweet booze, raw coconut, and sticky caramel leap from the glass and gives way to flavors reminiscent of rich bakers chocolates, caramel frosting, vanilla, and charred oak with undertones of toasted coconut flakes.
Silk City (2025) BBA White Chocolate Mocha is a 10.5% Imperial Stout base aged 6 months in hand-selected, freshly emptied, Bourbon Barrels from A. Smith Bowman Distillery before being conditioned on white chocolate and mocha cold brew.
The liquid is a deep, dark, brown color and is topped by a fluffy tan head that quickly dissipates after being poured into a glass. This beer is extremely rich and luscious. Upon tasting this new variant, aromas reminiscent of milk and dark chocolates with light booze and hints of dark berries leap from the glass and gives way to flavors reminiscent of milk chocolate, vanilla, and charred oak with undertones of freshly brewed espresso.
